To promote a strategic, holistic, coordinated approach that will put ASEAN in a better position to effectively and swiftly respond to emergencies and disasters.

Leaders Declaration on Upholding Multilateralism
To reaffirm key principles of multilateralism, including the shared commitment and collective responsibility to enhance regional peace, security and prosperity; and to emphasise the importance of adhering to the rule of law.

ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework and its Implementation Plan
To implement the initiatives under the Comprehensive Recovery Framework and its Implementation Plan, which will help ASEAN to recover and emerge stronger from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Procurement of Vaccines for the people of ASEAN
To utilise the ASEAN COVID-19 Response Fund to provide vaccines for ASEAN Member States

EAS Statement on Mental Health Cooperation

Junior ASEAN Officers’ Fellowship Programme with the ASEAN Secretariat
To establish a programme for junior officers from 10 ASEAN Member States, which will help build their skills and knowledge about ASEAN.

ASEAN Travel Corridor Arrangement Framework / ASEAN Plus Three Travel Corridor Arrangement
To develop an ASEAN Travel Corridor Arrangement Framework to facilitate essential business travels among ASEAN Member States, while prioritising public health safety. This Arrangement is expected to be expanded to the Plus Three Countries (China, Japan & Republic of Korea).

APT Regional Medical Supply Reserve
To establish an ASEAN Plus Three Reserve of Medical Supplies to enable swift mobilisation and distribution of medical supplies in case of health emergencies. This will complement the ASEAN Regional Reserve of Medical Supplies.

Blue Economy
To develop a common ASEAN understanding on the blue economy and the parameters by which activities should be conducted.

Strengthen ASEAN’s Institutions and Conduct
To strengthen the ASEAN Secretariat’s capacity in research, monitoring and policy analysis.

Post-2025 Vision
To develop a roadmap for the development of the ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision and its attendant documents. A High Level Task Force will be established to plan and develop the Vision.

ASEAN’s New Partnerships
To maintain ASEAN’s outward looking approach for ASEAN’s external relations including by establishing new dialogue partnerships.

Expand the ASEAN Direct Communications Infrastructure (ADI) to Plus Countries
To encourage dialogue on emergency and crisis situations and establish stronger linkages between ASEAN Member States and the Plus Countries to address security challenges in a manner which is open, transparent and inclusive.

ADMM-Plus Initiative on Military Medicine for Isolated or Underprivileged Communities to be Prepared and Self-Resilient
To work with the Plus countries in addressing humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts through a systematic deployment scheme to serve isolated community in need by training them to be prepared and self-resilient.

Strengthen Legal Cooperation Amongst ASEAN Member States
To strengthen legal cooperation amongst ASEAN Member States and to commence work on developing the ASEAN Extradition Treaty as well as to host a Forum on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons


ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY DELIVERABLES

Non-Tariff Measures (NTM) Toolkit
The NTM Toolkit is designed to provide a step-by-step implementation procedure and certain tools that can be used to review NTMs applicable to intermediate inputs within critical national value chains. It is meant to enable users to review NTMs in terms of compliance, enforcement and design.

Post COVID-19 Recovery Plan for ASEAN Tourism
The Recovery Plan provides comprehensive, practical and coordinated solutions for ASEAN to enhance sustainability, resilience, climate-smart, gender and social inclusiveness in ASEAN tourism industry during and post pandemic.

Launch Negotiations of an ASEAN-Canada Free Trade Agreement
Canada remains an important trading partner of ASEAN and commencing negotiations on an FTA would be timely to signal both sides continued commitment to a rules-based multilateral trading system.

ASEAN Investment Facilitation Framework
To leverage on regional initiatives that will facilitate investment into ASEAN and prepare for the post-COVID-19 new normal, and to further integrate ASEAN into global value chains and contribute to ASEAN’s comprehensive recovery efforts.

Work Plan on the Implementation of the ASEAN Agreement on e-Commerce
To provide a common and harmonized approach for ASEAN to effectively implement the Agreement, taking into account new dynamics and fast changing digital technologies. Moreover, it aims to promote rules based in e-commerce in ASEAN.

ASEAN Framework to Support Food, Agriculture and Forestry (FAF) Small Producers, Cooperatives and MSMEs to Increase Competitiveness
This Framework can support FAF small producers, cooperatives and MSMEs that are more vulnerable and have been hit hardest by COVID-19 to improve product quality to meet regional/international standards and ensure competitiveness.

ASEAN Joint Declaration on Energy Transitions and Energy Security.
To help ensure resources for implementation within ASEAN and to guide cooperation with external partners.

Framework for Circular Economy
Frames ASEAN’s understanding and priorities on circular economy as well as provides a crucial link between ASEAN Economic Community and the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community.

Key recommendations on regional cooperation in minerals: to respond to opportunities and requirements of a mineral-intensive low carbon and digital future

To foster greater understanding, tolerance and a sense of regional agendas among the people of ASEAN, by developing a Regional Policy Framework that serves as an overarching document to promote greater coherence and narrative in guiding ASCC‘s efforts on this front.

To promote social work and strengthen its catalytic role in realising a people-centred, people-oriented, and inclusive ASEAN Community that enhances the capacities of the poor, vulnerable groups, to help them achieve inclusion and enhances equitable access for those groups.

ASEAN Joint Statement on Climate Change during 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference
To deliver a message of ASEAN’s strong support to global efforts to address climate change under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) as well as emphasise ASEAN’s efforts towards a “Sustainable Climate”.
